We are looking for multiple Drilling and Wells Cost Controllers. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the assigned drilling teams, including preparing Well Cost Estimate (WCE), follow-up of periodic cost (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually), reporting and update forecast for the activities supported (drilling and P&A). Provide support and challenge activity owners/budget executors related to cost management; follow the operations closely to ensure project do not overspend and inform relevant stakeholders. Work closely with Drilling Team, Logistic Dep., Alliance partners and other vendors.
Typical tasks will include:
- Prepare WCE in collaboration with lead engineer and present it to budget owners for approval, including gathering input from vendors and alliance partners
- Review cost and commitments incurred, prepare accruals, assure actuals, prepare variance analysis and forecasts within area of responsibility
- Verify cost transactions, prepare loaders for corrections and process service entries
- Support engineers in creating requisitions and advice related to POs
- Master data requester for activities supported
- Follow up time writing and check correct use of timecodes
- Give input to logistics split, and review allocations
- Have regular cost reviews with relevant budget executors
- Review and understand cost for the reported activity against activity plans
- Contribute to quality preparation and timely delivery of input to the quarterly business cycle (ESI) and JV reports
- Prepare well reconciliation (casing vs tallies, fuel, hire of rig, etc)
- Prepare cost analyses to future operations based on different scopes/methods
- Support and assist in partner audits
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in economics or equivalent education
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Very strong analytical skills
- Strong Microsoft Office systems skills (Power BI, Excel, etc)
- Knowledge and experience with SAP
