Are you our new Sales & Business Development Manager?
In the role you are responsible for developing and implementing business development plans for your sales area. A crucial part of the job is to establish and maintain customer relationships. As we have an international client portfolio, travel is to be expected.
- Identifying potential customers, analyzing market needs, and initiating contact
- Conducting sales meetings, mapping customer needs, and presenting our products with proposal preparation
- Negotiating with customers to achieve mutually acceptable agreements
- Identifying new opportunities for our main products
- Developing and following up on our existing customer portfolios
- Establishing and maintaining strong customer collaborations
The position is part of our experienced and competent sales team and reports directly to our Sales Director.
What experience and skills do we hope you have?
We are looking for a new colleague preferably with a few years of sales and/or business development experience. Experience from the shipping or offshore industry is beneficial but not a necessity, an eagerness to learn about our technical solutions and markets is just as important. Being familiar with international markets is also considered positive.
Proficiency in the English language is needed to succeed in this position, and other language skills are also considered advantageous.
