We are looking for a IT Operations Specialist to join our IT department

We now have a new opportunity for a (Senior) IT Operations Specialist. The (Senior) IT Operations Specialist will be working in the IT Operations department and be a key resource in IT network and server infrastructure design, implementation, management and maintenance.

In this position you will be the initial point of escalation from 1st level support for any IT infrastructure matters, covering 2nd and 3rd level support with the IT Operations team.

You will also be highly involved in capacity planning, business continuity, security and change management and interact with vendors on a regular basis.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Administering our LAN, WAN, IT and OT infrastructure
• Train and mentor 1st level support staff
• IT/OT Infrastructure design, implementation, management, and maintenance
• Manage the voice infrastructure
• Monitoring of the overall infrastructure and mitigation of escalated issues and incidents
• Help with developing and improving the services provided from the global IT team
• Document procedures within IT Operations relevant to overall IT and OT infrastructure
• Network and server performance management and capacity planning

Skills & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Educational background in IT or other relevant educational backgrounds
• 5+ years of experience working within IT

• CCNA or CCNP certification desirable

• Relevant certifications or experience in MS365 at 2nd/3rd level a plus

• Experience with cloud service providers like Azure and AWS a plus

• ITIL certification or understanding of ITIL methodology is preferable
• CCIE, CISSP, NIST CSF and COBIT certifications a plus
• Experience from industrial manufacturing or critical infrastructure desirable
• Experience from regulated industries a plus
