Mia Health is looking for Senior UX Designer
Role Overview
Mia Health is a dynamic and forward-thinking startup at the forefront of wellness. As we continue to grow, we seek a passionate UX Designer who wants a meaningful job and thrives solving complex problems; a person who does not just ideate but thrives on turning concepts into impactful user experiences.
Are you a hands-on UX Designer who loves to transform user-centric ideas into reality? We are looking for a creative and pragmatic individual who can seamlessly blend design thinking with a can-do attitude. This job will not be A4. You will be part of a design team that needs to handle a variety of work, and in a startup, there might be periods with “all hands-on deck”. While this is part of the fun in a startup, it also gives you the opportunity to learn and grow, and be part of shaping the culture of a rapidly growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on Design: Dive deep into the design process, taking concepts from wireframes to prepared screens for the development stage. You are not just a thinker; you are a creator who brings ideas to life.
- User Research & Testing: Conduct user research to understand needs, pain points, and desires. Leverage this knowledge to create designs that truly resonate with our audience. Be hands-on in testing and iterate rapidly based on feedback.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, data analysts, other designers, and stakeholders. Your ability to communicate your design rationale and collaborate effectively is crucial to success.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize analytics and user data to inform and validate design decisions. Your focus on measurable outcomes will contribute to the ongoing refinement of our products.
- Rapid Prototyping: Bring a spirit of agility to the team by rapidly prototyping and validating ideas. Your ability to move quickly while maintaining a high standard of quality will set you apart.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
- Tools Mastery: Proficient in industry-standard design tools such as Figma.
- Problem Solver: A natural problem solver who approaches challenges with creativity and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Continuous Learner: Keen interest in staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Willingness to explore and implement new design methodologies.
Why Join Us:
- Innovation Hub: Be part of a team that values creativity and encourages experimentation. We believe in pushing boundaries and welcome fresh perspectives.
- Impactful Work: Your designs will directly contribute to the success of our products and enhance the overall user experience.
- Career Growth: We invest in our team members’ professional development. You’ll have opportunities to expand your skill set and take on new challenges.
- Competitive Salary and share options: A competitive salary that reflects the market value of a skilled UX designer's expertise and experience. In addition, we offer ownership through share options.
- Other standard benefits: Five weeks of vacation, flexible working hours, pension, among others.
If you’re a UX Designer with a passion for making things happen, we want to hear from you. Apply now by sending us your CV and Portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
