Do you want to play a critical role in Jotun’s Group IT Infrastructure?

Summary of the role:

As a Group IT Network Consultant in Jotun, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our company operates within the standards we have set and developed, and to ensure that we comply with any applicable rules within our Group IT Security Policy.

You will also be a key resource for providing network expertise and advice to our business units and customers. You will understand their network requirements and challenges and propose effective and innovative network solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and operate the FW/SDWAN, Wi-Fi solution: with 200+ locations in all regions around the world including design, configure, install, and test network hardware and software, such as routers, switches, Wi-Fi, Firewalls, servers, and cloud services.
• Support the entire Global organization by participating in the development of standards, guidelines, and best practices within the area Lan, WAN, Wi-Fi, Server & FW to ensure stability, quality, consistency, and effective operation.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and govern the Global IT Infrastructure Roadmap/Lifecycle. Including monitoring and optimizing the network performance, availability, security, and implementing backup and disaster recovery plans for the Global IT Network.
• Conduct regular IT Audits/Assessments in local companies to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with Global IT standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce policies, procedures, and governance to mitigate compliance risks.
• Keep up to date within the field of expertise, including research and evaluation of new network technologies and trends, and provide recommendations for network improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

• We believe that the right candidate has good IT Infrastructure understanding,
• Competence in managing larger Network environments, and IT architecture.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• BSc degree or higher within IT-related subjects.
• Min. 5 years of experience from a similar position, preferably some experience from working in global companies.
• Good English skills, both written and spoken
