Project Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Project Engineer in Integration GCS, Engineering and Configuration, reporting to Operations Manager of Integration GCS.

The department is part of the Integration & Energy- GCS Business Unit. The department delivers upgrade, retrofit, refit and conversion solutions to existing vessels and installations within the offshore, energy, LNG, merchant, PAX and naval segment. Deliveries consists of products from the entire KM product portfolio; Automation & Control / Propulsion & Handling / Integration & Energy. Success is dependent on an effective systems integration engineering, thorough execution plans and good focus on overall progress.

Responsibilities

• Planning and execution of engineering activities
• Production of project documentation
• Software configuration and verification
• Internal Acceptance Test (IAT) and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
• Installation and commissioning worldwide
• Close cooperation with project participants worldwide

Qualifications and experience

• Higher technical education
• Experience and knowledge of marine equipment and control systems are desired, but not a requirement
• Practical hands-on approach to complex tasks
• Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing
• Travel as required

 This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
