In our office in Seimsfoss we are currently looking for a Project Buyer to strengthen our team. The office contains 50+ talented and experienced colleges that are ready to welcome another team member on board. In this international environment you will be an important key to further developing our success in life-saving boats.
In the role as Project Buyer you will plan and execute purchasing activities to best practice and contribute to optimizing our purchasing activities. P&H has a strong focus on building a strong supplier portfolio, establishing a profitable business and entering new product- and market areas. To further strengthen the existing team, we are looking for a motivated Operational Buyer.
As our Project Buyer you are able to act on own initiative, make things happen and accept responsibility for the results. You are good in networking to build useful contacts and relationships and utilize it to achieve set golds.
Key accountabilities:
- Place orders and follow up on signals to ensure good flow and delivery made on time according to quality requirements and correct quantity
- Project purchase of needed new-build equipment from production sites
- Report and initiate measures to strengthen the department`s achievement
- Report relevant deviations and/or suggestion for improvement
- Support in negotiation of frame agreements
- Cooperation with site purchaser to ensure all purchase are completed to each project
- Verification of invoice
- Supplier management (Quality requirements, Response rate & Delivery performance)
- Sign in and out goods through ERP system
- Work in accordance with the company’s latest Strategy, Quality Manual, HSE policy and applicable laws and regulations, in addition work after at any time applicable procedure within your department
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor degree from technical/economical/logistics or other relevant subjects or relevant work experience
- Relevant commercial / technical education
- Experience from contract preparations, negotiations and execution from sales or/and procurement is an advantage
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge to international laws regarding purchase
- ISO9001, ERP, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Marine Equipment Directive
- Relevant procurement experience
- Ability to cooperate/act, systematic, targeted
