Could you be the full-time Site Planner in Oslo we’re looking for?
Your future role

As the Site Planner, you will play a vital role in creating a comprehensive schedule for the installation team, which includes coordinating all activities in the depot. You will work closely with external customers and subcontractors to oversee and manage operations planning.
To excel in this role, you are expected to be proactive in maintaining timelines and meeting project deadlines, despite any potential hindrances. Additionally, you will need to identify reported clashes and coordinates issues between Alstom Plan and Customer plan.
Moreover, your role involves overseeing train delivery and ensuring that the project is executed effectively.
You will be responsible to :
- Create and follow up of the detailed on site activities schedule for Installation, Commissioning and department (train industrial schedule or Gantt chart)
- Monitor the resources booking process (driver request, train handover and handback coordination, track booking forecasts) and the use of possessions
- Support the department with their readiness status prior site activities
- Attend to regular internal meetings: department meeting, planning reviews
- Attend to regular meetings with internal supplier: control the supplier schedule and monitor the progress
- Attend to regular external meetings: Customer meetings related to site activities, third parties meetings related to site activities, synchronization meeting to push the plan
- Assess the progress of works against the schedule

- Graduated with a bachelor’s degree
- Scheduling tool: MS Project as a minimum
- Language skills required: advanced/business fluent level of English. It will be a plus to have Norwegian language skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to fulfil the role of site coordinator towards internal department, internal supplier, Customer and third parties
- Decision-making and problem-solving ability
