Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to lead impactful projects? We are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to spearhead our sustainable material, packaging, and opening device initiatives. If you have a background in Chemical Engineering or Material Science, along with a proven track record in project management, this role is made for you!
Role Overview:
As the Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our commitment to sustainability. You’ll collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams, manage project risks, and ensure successful project delivery. Your expertise in project management, coupled with your passion for sustainable solutions, will be instrumental in achieving our goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Manage Project Plans: Create comprehensive project plans, define milestones, and establish timelines to guide successful execution.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and optimize costs.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with teams across departments to align efforts and achieve project success.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues.
- Quality Standards: Ensure project deliverables meet high-quality standards within specified timeframes and budget constraints.
- Stakeholder Communication: Keep stakeholders informed of project progress, milestones, and any deviations.
- Process Improvements: Continuously evaluate processes and implement enhancements to boost efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Material Science.
- Minimum of 10-15 years in project management, preferably in sustainable material development or related fields.
- Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with a focus on Time-Quality-Cost.
- Experience in running R&D material development projects is highly valued.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
- Thrive both independently and as part of a team.
The position will be located at Spikkestad, approx. 40 minutes from Oslo. Some travel to be expected (est 30 days/year).
