As a Sustainability Specialist within the Energy Strategy, Policy and Analysis (ESP) department, you will be a crucial player in our Sustainability Unit. You will lead our efforts in ESG reporting and drive our sustainability initiatives, working closely with various business units to implement strategic ambitions and drive improvements.

Your contribution:
Your main job will be to help us improve and monitor how our energy business impacts people, the environment, and our communities. You will look closely at how we can improve in areas like social responsibility, climate change, reducing our impact to nature, managing sustainability risks in our supply chain, and reporting on our sustainability efforts.
Your key tasks will include:
- Improve and oversee ESG reporting for the Energy business area, ensuring accurate data collection, efficient systems and routines, aligned with internal and external requirements.
- Conducting comprehensive analyses to identify sustainability risks and opportunities , guiding improvements in our environmental and social impact.
- Managing risk evaluations in our supply chain and supporting due diligence for new investments or partnerships, with a focus on sustainability.
- Contribute to specific strategic initiatives to enhance our sustainability practices, including setting benchmarks and contributing to projects that promote positive environmental contributions.

- Analytical skills are needed to evaluate sustainability risks and interpret ESG data, helping the company make informed decisions.
- Communication skills are important for effectively sharing information and collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to align on sustainability goals.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team ensures that tasks are completed efficiently while contributing to group efforts.
- The ability to apply your knowledge to develop and implement effective actions and strategies, guiding the company's sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications we look for:
- Master's degree in fields like industrial ecology, natural sciences, social sciences, or economics with a sustainability focus.
- Solid understanding of sustainability in the renewables sector and at least 2 years of experience in ESG reporting and sustainability practices at company level.
- Familiarity with ESG reporting standards, CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and ESG metrics.
- Experience with International Sustainability Standards is a plus (e.g., OECD, ILO, IFC).
- Fluent in English; Scandinavian language skills are a plus but not required.
