Peak Marine Tech is currently looking for a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

Our engineers are involved in every step of the value chain, from initial feasibility studies to on-site testing at shipyards. Essential responsibilities and duties:

• Work with design, specification, production follow-up and testing of deck equipment.
• Make technical documents, drawings and equipment manuals.
• Participate in mechanical completion, acceptance testing and follow up of installation.
• Prepare relevant documents for purchasing process
• Other tasks within the maritime engineering department
• Travelling will be expected related to projects and sales meetings with clients

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components.
• Contribute during installation of equipment at shipyards all over the world.
• Collaborate with cross-discipline partners for hydraulics and electrics.
• Assist the sales department with conceptual design and cost estimates
• Lead R&D projects to improve our product portfolio.
• Perform analysis and simulations to optimize mechanical designs.
• Inspection and feasibility studies for conversion projects.
• Generate detailed documentation and reports.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or similar.
• Proven experience in mechanical design and analysis.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor and AutoCAD).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
