Exciting opportunity as Scientist/ Senior Scientist in a cancer therapeutics start-up

Cellmover is an early-stage biotech company based in Oslo and developing therapeutic drugs for delivery to the interior of immune cells. The company focuses on nanobodies and small peptides as cancer therapeutics.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who enjoys spending time in the lab, is versatile and eager to contribute to a start-up. The tasks will mainly be product development of our current nanobody/peptide candidates. You will be responsible for experimental work, writing and design of protocols, planning and executing experiments, and reporting of laboratory results. Irrespective of your background and skills, adaptability and a proactive attitude are essential for success in our team.

Key Responsibilities

•        Plan, design and implement experimental work in the laboratory

•        Participate in the development of our nanobody/peptide portfolio

•        Purification and production of nanobodies

•        Engineering of nanobodies and peptides

•        Maintain high level of quality through documentation

•        Contribute to the team culture by enthusiasm, curiosity, and adaptability to a changing environment

Requirements 

•        PhD or MSc with minimum 2 years work experience in molecular biology, biochemistry or related disciplines

•        Strong understanding of molecular biology and/or biochemistry

•        Expertise in drug development and discovery assays (e.g. SPR, protein purification, protein engineering, drug delivery)

•        Experience form start-ups or relevant industry experience is an advantage

We offer a six-month full-time position, with the possibility of an extension. Cellmover is based at the Oslo Science park // Sharelab.
