Do you want to contribute to digitalization in a global organization?
As our Procurement system admin, you will be responsible for supporting IT/digital solutions within Procurement for all business units in Elkem globally. Your role is to administrate the related solutions and be first line support towards our employees in Procurement.
This is a new position in Elkem, and you will have a key role in administrating our new procurement platform on a day-to-day basis. We expect the platform to evolve into new areas of procurement and you will play an important part in this digitalization journey for Procurement. Digitalization is an essential part of our strategy for further growth and development, and you will make a real impact on our digital transformation.
Most important areas of responsibility:
- Support design and development of Elkems Supplier Experience Platform
- Ensure good and satisfactory end user support (1st Line) and secure stable operations
- Simple configuration and adjustments of the solution (2nd Line)
- Collaborate with software vendor(s) and external implementation partners
- Develop and create user documentation and training material according to best practice procedures
- Contribute to automate and digitize the business area of procurement Globally
Personal qualities important for the position:
We are looking for you who are enthusiastic for new technology and systems, and quickly can understand and get involved in problem solving. You are curious about possibilities, new systems, like to configure and find solutions. You are not afraid to learn by testing and trying. We see it as an advantage if you have experience as system administrator or configuration in a procurement system or are familiar with ERP systems, preferably within procure to pay, and can utilize that knowledge in Elkem. You are comfortable engaging with end-users and you take initiative and responsibility. It is important to us that you are serviceminded and have good communication skills in English, enabling you to collaborate well with colleagues across the organization worldwide. It is also an advantage with second language, preferably Norwegian or French.
Qualifications:
To be successful and enjoy this role we believe you prefer a structured and transparent work style, and can either have a relevant bachelor or masters degree in information systems, procurement or business economics.
The position reports to Solution Architect Procurement in Elkem IT Digital Applications.
