ZEG Power are looking for two Senior Process Engineers to join the company’s technology & process development team at Lysaker. The role consists of diverse tasks in the area of developing, verifying and maturing solutions, designs and systems, process and chemical modelling as well as participation in technology and delivery projects.

The position of Senior Process Engineer
ZEG Power is in a phase of scaling-up the company and further developing the company’s technology. The Senior Process Engineer position will be highly involved in all aspects of related activities and will report to the Technology Platform Director. In this position you will be working closely with Engineers across all disciplines.
This role will give you the opportunity to work on a range of different projects and within a range of different responsibilities. This could include:
- Participation in developing plant designs in increasing scale from concept phase to execution and realisation.
- Contribute to and/or manage technology, solutions and system research and development projects.
- Process modelling of overall plant configurations and sub-systems.
- Chemical modelling of core sub-systems and vessels.
- Contribute to the operation of the first-of-a-kind, ZEG H1 plant at CCB Energy Park, Kollsnes.
- Have a central role in the optimisation and industrialisation of the ZEG technology.
- Perform calculations and evaluations to support technical discussions and decisions.
- Develop technical documentation such as reports, P&IDs, flow diagrams, datasheets, operating procedures, etc.
- Troubleshooting and back-office support for operation on site
- Possibility to participate in site work, FAT, commissioning, and operation of ZEG Plants
- Participate in other activities and support the rest of the ZEG Power team as required.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an ambitious person with a strong academic background and 5+ years experience within Process and/or Chemical Engineering.
You are someone who strives to absorb new knowledge and technology, and a good problem solver. You are comfortable engaging in discussions and expressing your point of view, comfortable in challenging others to achieve the best possible business outcome.
Key experience and qualifications:
- Master level degree within Process or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
- Experience from technology development and process design.
- Experience from operational support and troubleshooting.
- Competence/experience within fluidised bed reactors is highly beneficial.
- Competence/experience within 2 or 3 phase flow, separation, chemical looping, high temperature systems and gas processing is an advantage.
- Experience with process modelling tools (HYSYS/Aspen Plus or similar) is a significant advantage.
- Fluent in written and oral English, Norwegian/Swedish/Danish is an advantage.
