The Process Engineer will have a central role in industrializing our technology and transition it into production. The position is key in the link between the technology center in Norway and our US based production facility. You will work with experts within multiple disciplines and customer and transform this to operational capabilities. The position will work closely with the US facility and support the scalability and ramp up of production. You will play a key role in a small, highly skilled, and agile team on a mission to raise the bar and change the additive manufacturing industry forever.
As an ideal candidate, you have a technical background combined with industrial experience. You can be detail driven, hands on and have great problem-solving when required. You have great communication skills and are able to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the details of engineering challenges. You preferably have a track record within relevant industry or other technical roles, however less experienced candidates with the right attitude will be considered.
What your day looks like:
- Be a key link between the ETC in Norway and our US based production facility
- The possibility to play a vital role in an industrial revolution
- Be a part of the journey from R&D to production, introducing new technology into production and scale it
- An opportunity to solve interesting and complex engineering problems from day one
- Lead complex projects and have ownership of your own
- Identify and solve cross-functional challenges
- Development and optimization of new and existing operational processes, engineering standards and specifications
- Support new product introduction (NPI)
We’re thrilled to find Candidates with:
- A relevant technical University degree
- Experience from continuous manufacturing or industry driven by continuous improvement
- Enjoy being hands on and delivering from top level down to the smallest details
- Lean Six Sigma training or certification
- Can handle many work tasks and projects simultaneously
- Great problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication, cooperation, and collaboration skills
- Strong computer skills who is fluent in Norwegian and English
- A robust and proactive mindset able to work in a dynamic scale-up environment
