We are looking for a new Workshop Technician to assist our team in our Workshop.
The Workshop Technician covers work within the below outline, with responsibility for specific tasks and contribution as follows:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform and manage work according to Enhanced Drilling & Client`s safety & operational expectations.
The Workshop Technicians is responsible to ensure that all processes and procedures related to workshop are handled, followed through and developed in line with Enhanced Drilling standard, and to ensure the safety of yourself, your team and all other Enhanced Drilling employees.
Responsibilities may include;
- Ensure that Workshop comply to company high HSEQ standards
- Follow up on daily activities in Straume Workshop or in other regions as required
- Follow up on all work associated with maintenance, repairs and mobilization/demobilization-acceptance within defined area
- Manage the position most cost-effective way possible
- Responsible to provide relevant test documentation to Mobilization Teams
- Ensure reported Synergies', with outcome actions related to workshop and EDR equipment, gets implemented.
- Manage registration of equipment, maintenance, testing and other relevant information in Asset Management System, Fiix.
- Responsible to adapt current and new procedures and work instructions to bring the Workshop and yard to a global standard.
- Contribute for continuously improvement of the workshop department within all defined areas, including work environment
The Workshop Technicians should have the ability to work abroad if required at EDR global workshops and to work offshore in all regions upon request.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED;
- Certificate of apprenticeship in Mechanical trade or other relevant apprenticeship
For the position, the preferred candidate have:
- Mechanical workshop experience
- Experience and understanding of offshore operations and HSEQ requirements, Subsea technology and offshore industry is preferred
- Min. 3 years of relative experience
- Speaks Norwegian language
