To Heimstaden, one of Europe’s largest residential real estate companies, we are seeking a Data Analyst with solid experience with Power BI. The position will be responsible for gathering data from various sources and develop high-quality financial analyses and decision-making materials. You will be part of a highly skilled and down-to-earth team at Group Financial Control, and provide with interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI and Excel. Your findings will be used by the team in financial reports and presentations, as well as shared with stakeholders. Therefore, there are high demands for precision, accuracy, and the ability to present in a visually comprehensive manner. Group Financial Control is in addition to financial reporting, also responsible for sustainability reporting at group level, and the Data Analyst will also work with structuring and streamlining sustainability data.
This is a unique opportunity for a candidate that thrives digging into various data sources, and manages to compile and present sound analyses. The position has a broad contact base, and will collaborate and communicate across departments and countries to gather data and develop analyses. The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in finance or analytics with solid academic results, and 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. You have strong analytical abilities and are highly proficient in using Excel and Power BI.
Core Responsibilities:
- Compile data from various databases and process it
- Build dashboards and reports in Power BI and Excel
- Report and present analyses and decision-making materials
- Structure and streamline sustainability data
- Ensure the quality of analyses through testing and validation
- System development, automate and streamline processes and reports
- Assist with financial modelling
- Ad-hoc analytical work
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in finance/analytics or similar
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with gathering and organising data, analysing large datasets, and presenting findings
- Technically strong with solid proficiency in Excel
- Experience in building models and dashboards in Power BI
- Fluent in written and spoken English
