Your duties and tasks
As Area Sales Manager, you will be in charge of boosting sales for all GEA Food Application Solution products for targeted customers in Norway. This involves finding opportunities, leading negotiations, closing sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction, revenue, and profitability. Moreover, you will seek out and establish new customer relationships while keeping the current ones. This role requires frequent travel within Norway and overseas.
Additionally, as Area Sales Manager you will:
- Create sales plans that cover the whole portfolio according to goals and budget as well as increase the pipeline.
- Contribute to Nordic Sales Management with forecasting and join weekly Nordic Teams meetings.
- Boost equipment sales/profitability by using Product Specialists and other GEA resources effectively.
Your profile
For the role as Area Sales Manager we are looking for someone who knows the food application industry well, either from direct experience or professional knowledge. They should be outgoing, honest, and straightforward, good at building relationships with customers and colleagues from different places and levels. They should also be able to work well in different settings and with different companies, locations, and cultures.
- Have a history of selling capital goods successfully.
- Have a strong personality that is sales-oriented and team-oriented.
- Have a professional education as a Food Technologist, Engineer or similar, with a lot of sales experience.
