The role has main focus on the trade/customers that provides our products to the consumers every day. Strengthening our position with the trade and bridging the gap between marketing strategies and sales execution, will be your everyday tasks. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing trade marketing initiatives specifically tailored to support sales efforts within various channels. Activities often include developing point-of-sale materials, trade promotions, merchandising strategies, and channel-specific marketing campaigns to support retailers and encourage them to sell the products effectively.
Key tasks will include:
- Activity Planning: Plan and execute brand campaign and trade activities in the market, both in the physical and digital stores, including promotions, instore- and brand activations and space concepts aimed at driving sales. The aim is to build our market share and increasing brand and/or product visibility, drive sales through distribution channels, improve shelf space and placement, and enhance relationships with trade/customers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effectively collaborates with sales, marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of trade marketing initiatives with broader business strategies.
- Channel Support: Provide support to sales teams by developing marketing materials, sales tools, marketing data systems and presentations tailored to specific channels or customers.
- Market and Shopper Dynamics: Understand customer needs through analysis of shopper behavior, competitor activities, and various market factors to identify new opportunities.
- Data Analysis and Sales Performance: Utilizing data analytics to measure the effectiveness of trade marketing activities, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify areas for optimization. Always measure success through the impact of brand and trade marketing activities on sales performance, including metrics such as revenue growth, market share, and return on investment (ROI).
- Budget Management: Effectively manage the trade marketing budget, allocating resources strategically to maximize ROI and achieve business goals while ensuring financial discipline and accountability.
We are looking for candidates with the following background and skills:
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- 1-2 years from trade marketing or similar experience in retail
- Demonstrates precision and accuracy in executing tasks and delivering according to deadlines.
- Identifies and seizes commercial opportunities; has a strong positive impact on business growth and profitability.
- Good understanding of trade marketing principles.
- Ability to inspire and motivate various stakeholders, encourage collaboration, and drive results through effective delegation and guidance.
- Proficient in using marketing/sales analytics tools and platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
