Are you an engineer passionate about driving the green transition through innovative technology? Ventum Dynamics in Stavanger are seeking you – a dynamic Mechanical Project Manager to join our team and make a significant impact on the renewable energy landscape.
Ventum Dynamics is a forward-thinking company in the renewable energy power generation industry. With a team of 16 diverse and dedicated professionals, we specialize in market-ready rooftop wind turbines designed for on-site power production. Our turbines provide seamless energy solutions by operating both grid-connected and off-grid, ensuring resilience during energy shortages and outages.
Our goal is to empower businesses to control energy costs, enhance energy security and reduce carbon emissions. As we scale up to meet growing demands, we hope that you will help lead our technical team and drive our mission forward.
Your role will include managing projects related to mechanical engineering, procurement and budgeting. We also hope you can provide technical insights and ensure projects are completed within scope, on time and within budget.

To succeed in the role, we think you should have a Bachelor´s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a focus on structural engineering, as well as experience with project management. You should also have proficiency in CAD software, especially SolidWorks. It is also preferrable with wind power and procurement experience. The following qualifications are nice to have:
- Experience with design codes and standards (Eurocode, ISO, DNV, AWS).
- Experience with 2D drawing (GD&T, Dimensional tolerances, welding symbols).
- Experience with hand calculations (Static, Machine Design).
- Basic knowledge of FEA.
- Knowledge of rotating components and vibration analysis.
- Knowledge of composite material and manufacturing techniques
- Knowledge of materials science, WPS, and NDT.
- Experience with fatigue calculation.
