Operations Controller
Are you our next Operations Controller?
DOF is continuously expanding and we are seeking an Operations Controller with interest in the maritime industry to join our team. As an Operations Controller in DOF you will be responsible for carefully analyzing and closely monitoring the financial performance and budget variance of our Operations department. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the success of our Operations Department, and you will serve as a trusted financial advisor to the Regional Project Support & Operations Manager as well as the leaders within the Operations Department. Moreover, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing robust controls for the Operations Department, all while actively identifying and executing opportunities for cost reduction, process enhancement, and overall operational efficiency.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a high pasted environment with a technical and operational mindset. In this role you will have the chance to develop and learn alongside with our industry professionals, gaining invaluable experience and contributing to the continued success of our expanding operations.
Requirements
- Relevant university degree within Business administration or Finance
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting
- Excellent skills in Excel
- Good skills in UBW/Agresso is an advantage
- Fluent English both verbal and written
- A general technical and operation interest is beneficial
Reporting to the Regional Project Support & Operations Manager
Office location is Marineholmen, Bergen or Aberdeen, UK.
