Platform Architect: Architecting Cloud Solutions with Developer Focus

About the role
- As a platform architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the internal tools that powers AutoStore AS's products and services.
- You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet high standards of quality, performance, and security.
- You will also provide technical leadership and guidance to the platform team, ensuring alignment with the company's strategy and best practices.
- What you will do
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures, using cloud-native technologies and microservices.
- Be responsible for owning multiple platforms/technologies.
- Monitor and troubleshoot platform issues, and provide root cause analysis and resolution.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and trends, and propose improvements and innovations for the platform.
- Mentor and coach junior platform engineers, and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- What you will need
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and Linux
- Well-versed in CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and version control with Git.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud services, networking, observability, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Familiar with programming languages used by developers like C, C++, C#, Rust or Python
- Knowledge of Python or Go

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Skilled at addressing both technical and business challenges
- Have a deep understanding of the pain points of developers
- Product-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering value to developers.
