We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICMS Engineer to join our team on the Baleine Project. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the quality and implementation of safety and automation systems within our EPC projects. This position requires extensive experience in commissioning, particularly within offshore installations and FPSO conversions.
The Commissioning ICMS (Safety and Automation System) Supervisor will be responsible for:
Documentation Quality Monitoring: Ensuring the quality of system-related documentation on design solutions and activities within EPC towards ICMS systems.
Information Management: Making sure that all necessary information for commissioning is available from all contractor sides.
System Updates: Updating the completion system (PIMS) with the necessary data.
Procedure Reviews: Reviewing all FAT- and SAT-procedures and vendor commissioning procedures.
Team Management: Managing the Commissioning ICMS team and system vendors.
Contract Compliance: Ensuring activities are within the company framework and conform to contract requirements.
Communication: Maintaining good cooperation and communication with the system vendor.
Scope Clarification: Working with AIP operations team and clients to provide clear guidance on the scope of work.
Regulatory Compliance: Collaborating with the AIP Regulatory Compliance & Verification Lead and system vendor to define and execute compliance and verification activities.
Document Reviews: Reviewing and commenting on ICMS discipline documents prepared by the system vendor.
Activity Monitoring: Monitoring contractor’s ICMS discipline activities and deliverables for regulatory and contract compliance.
System Functionality: Ensuring the functionality of existing and new vessel systems and equipment.
Documentation Development: Overseeing the development of relevant documentation for ICMS systems.
Issue Resolution: Assisting in resolving issues related to ICMS systems design and certification.
Safety Studies Participation: Participating in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, and other related safety studies.
Meeting Participation: Attending meetings and inspections as required globally.
Task Management: Closing assigned TQ’s and other action items in PIMS or formal MOM.
Collaboration: Working closely with other key disciplines.
Test Plan Reviews: Reviewing and commenting on plans for Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for ICMS equipment and participating in tests as necessary.
Resource Management: Calling off assistance from discipline resources to maintain quality and progress.
Progress Reporting: Reporting any delays or design failures to the ICT/SAS Lead and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Education: Technical education at Bachelor level or higher.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within ICMS for offshore installations.
Safety Attitude: Proactive attitude towards safe working requirements.
Regional Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience from Asian/Middle East shipyards.
FPSO Conversion: Experience in at least 3 FPSO conversion/redeployment projects.
Position Experience: Minimum 5 years in an identical position.
Language Skills: Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Procedure Writing: Experienced in writing procedures.
