The IT Business Support team is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, configuring and customizing software and hardware solutions to align with organizational requirements, user preferences, and security best practices. They provide recommendations for continuous improvement by leveraging technology to enhance productivity, ensure system reliability, and drive overall success. Additionally, they manage user accounts, perform regular system updates, and offer training and documentation to empower users and maintain efficient IT operations.
Your main responsibility will be nothing short of extraordinary:
- First-line ticket handling & reinstallation/general user support of local machines and software
- Onboarding/offboarding/security conversations (consultants and permanent employees)
- Equipment/user management through preferred vendors (hardware and mobile subscriptions)
- Support for physical AV equipment and printers
- Assist with documentation, inventory, and knowledge sharing
- Travel to other KDI locations in Norway to be expected on a regular basis
- Cooperate with the rest of the global IT team and take part in a global IT Support Helpdesk
- Cooperation with the business to solve challenges and develop new solutions based on business requirements.
Having a background and experience in the field would be incredibly valuable, but fresh from school and highly motivated to learn is also relevant:
- Previous experience working in a global IT support helpdesk environment.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.
- Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
- Experience in an IT support role within a corporate environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical users.
- Experience in administrating the Microsoft 365 platform.
- Experience with Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps
- Good Communications skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Norwegian.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, related technical field, or equivalent working experience.
