As a Project Planner at our Norwegian technology company, you will play a critical role in the successful execution of water treatment and energy projects. As an architect of project timelines, you will collaborate with all stakeholders to develop comprehensive plans to ensure projects success as well as ensuring adequate project progress reporting.
We are looking for a proactive and curious individual which will be self-propelled in the quest of getting all the various pieces of the puzzle in place to prepare and maintain plans for projects.
Responsibilities:
- Planning- and project control participate in Techouse project control team. Includes project work in multidiscipline teams.
- Responsible for preparing and follow up progress plans through all phases of the project according to Techouse and client’s requirements.
- Craft and update project plans weekly, ensuring clarity in deliverables, priorities, and timelines
- Revise plans as required and simulate outcome of delays or other disturbances during execution.
- Generate detailed planning reports both for internal and external use.
- Collaborate with discipline leads, project manager and procurement to maintain correct project schedule throughout the project.
- Support to potential extra work and change control. Ensure that the project schedule is revised based on variation orders.
- Develop our portifolio of tools in this area allowing best possible control & plans with optimised tools to deliver information to all relevant stakeholders.
- Partisiphate in tendering work, preparing plans required for quotations & bids.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business (or equivalent experience)
- A minimum of 3 years of planning experience within the technical sector, preferably with backgrounds in engineering, construction, or drilling
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including, Power BI, Business Centra, MS Project
- Knowledge of Safran systems is an asset in this role
Personal Skills:
- Structured, analytical, and proactive approach to work
- Independence and solution-focused mindset
- Strong communication skills across all levels of an organization
- Fluency in Norwegian and English (both spoken and written)
- Knowledge of NORSOK’s coding structure is preferred
- Experience with EPCI project phases is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Willing to chase information from all stakeholders – proactive information collection
