Senior Engineers – Process

We are looking for Senior Process Engineers to strengthen our Process Department in Oslo. As a Process Engineer, you will execute designs for offshore wind, hydrogen, CCS, or oil & gas projects.
About the position
As part of Aibel’s team, you will have the opportunity to perform process calculations and simulations across a wide variety of project types. You will be working in a team with strong technical expertise and a multidisciplinary mindset. Proficiency in simulation is highly desirable.
Responsibilities and tasks include
- Calculation and dimensioning of piping, valves, and process equipment
- Prepare P&ID, line lists and design reports.
- Preparation of operating manual, system description, control philosophy
- Prepare and actively participate in HAZOP, design reviews and other relevant safety reviews
- Active collaboration with other disciplines and vendors
- Expertise in process safety or compressor system is beneficial
Qualifications
- Higher technical education within chemical/process engineering (BSc, MSc, PhD)
- Min. 5 years' relevant working experience in engineering, onshore/offshore, study/FEED/detail design
- Experience from NCS or Norwegian onshore projects is an advantage
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, i.e. NORSOK, Ptil/PSA, API standards
- In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following areas: Separation and liquid export, Compressor system design, Heat exchanger design and rating or Process simulations
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken; fluency in Norwegian is preferred
