Rights & Brands is now looking for a Sales and Brand Manager to our team in Norway.
Do you want to be a part of Rights & Brands’ sales team and help drive the business and our continued development as one of the most successful Brand Extension, Licensing, and Publishing agencies. The Sales and Brand managers main role is to sell license agreements to existing and new customers and to strengthen Rights & Brand’s position at the major retail channels in Norway and Denmark through brand collaborations. You will report to Commercial Manager in Norway. The role is Norway-focused, and Denmark; however, the R&B organisation is very international.
Key responsibilities
Building new sales: ownership of the full sales cycle from lead to close.
Manage the new sales of the total R&B brand portfolio by cold calling, emailing or scheduling meetings in person.
Managing existing customers: identify customer needs and build relationships by visiting them in person to ensure customer success to grow the business. (Product development, renewal, and problem-solving)
Create activities at retailers: to support the sales of our licensees and brands. Customers are mainly located in Norway.
Driving growth for our Norwegian IPs in Norway through a wide range of sales, brand strategies and market activities, and internationally via our international organisation.
Develop and execute on brand strategies for our Norwegian IPs using a wide range of brand strategies to reach sales target and increased brands awareness.
The employee shall actively work together with and help other members of the sales teams to reach common sales goals:
- Drive the business and efforts with positive energy and high level of initiative
- Create new sales tactics and activities.
- Attend weekly sales team meetings and provide information to management about sales figures, goals and obstacles.
Become a valuable and helpful resource in all your dealings with customers and create a friendly reputation in the industry and for the brands we represent.
Some traveling is required regularly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communication, or
- another field.
- Three or more years of experience in sales and working with retailers, producers,
- brands in Norway and or Denmark.
- Active Sales skills: building new sales.
- Excellent ability to communicate in Norwegian and English in writing or verbally.
- Swedish is considered an asset.
- A basic understanding and understanding from brand collaborations and preferably the
- licensing business.
- High degree of initiative, ownership, and a proven teamwork mentality.
- Good stakeholder management skills and ability to handle the complexity of navigating several tasks at once.
- Comfortable with web, social media, IT systems, desktop applications, and programs.
