Elopak, a global leader in sustainable packaging solutions, is seeking an enthusiastic HR Generalist to join our team in Spikkestad, Norway. As an HR Generalist, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our company culture, supporting our employees, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
Key task:
- Support Contract Management:
- Draft and send employment contracts to new hires.
- Maintain contract templates to ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Support Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Facilitate smooth onboarding for new employees.
- Coordinate offboarding processes
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
- Support HR Operations in promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
- Contribute to HMS-related initiatives.
- Recruitment Support:
- Work closely with recruiters and the Head of Operations on employer branding initiatives.
- Salary Adjustments and Benchmarking:
- Assist during the annual salary adjustment process.
- Leverage Mercer benchmarks for informed decisions.
- Ensure we keep our employee handbook and manager handbook up-to-date.
- Generell support on personell administrative tasks
- HR System Implementation in collaboration with the HCM team
- Support local organizational training programs and workshops.
Your profile:
As a HR Generalist, you excel in maintaining structure. Whether it’s fine-tuning policies or ensuring seamless processes, your attention to detail keeps everything running smoothly. You believe that a positive workplace culture is the heartbeat of any organization, and you embrace new challenges with open arms.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Some experience as an HR Generalist or similar role is an advantage
- Knowledge of Norwegian labor laws and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English and Norwegian
