Role Description
As Technical Sales Manager (TSM) in our Applied Technologies (AT) team, we strive to meet market demands and grow new business. You will join a team of talented and dedicated sales representatives and engineers working closely together to ensure we deliver valuable solutions to our customers. Our new TSM will focus on building relationships and customer follow-ups, as well as proactively identifying opportunities to grow our business. As TSM in the AT team, you will be working in close cooperation with the rest of our sales and technical teams, locally and globally. Today, Vipo is present in several countries, including Norway, France, Brazil, UK and USA. Our ambition is to develop new and existing client relationships, analyze their needs and offer specialized products to solve their challenges.
As a Technical Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing the sales process from start to finish. Further, you will use your market insights and network to establish and develop new clients within new or existing industries, creating new business opportunities for Vipo both locally and internationally.
Desired qualifications and personal skills
To succeed in this role, we think you have several years of experience within technical sales in a similar industry. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant fields is an advantage. Most important, you are eager to learn and understand the technical aspects of our products, technical components and solutions. We imagine you have the sales endurance required for building lasting relationships and bringing sales to fruition, a process that may take several years. You like to plan, strategize and follow up with your clients throughout the sales process, and involve the correct colleagues and partners along the way. As we deliver to a wide range of industries in different countries, you can efficiently communicate, both written and verbal, in English.
This role reports to Business Group Manager, Applied Technologies.
