Fuel Cell Product Engineer
We are seeking a Product Engineer for our headquarters in Bergen. The Product Engineer role involves technical analysis and optimization of marine fuel cell systems in combination with marine battery systems to make innovative solutions for maritime customers. You will work closely with internal and external customers by defining technical requirements and designing system solutions that meet the customer’s expectations.
The position reports to SVP Development Projects, Fuel Cell and will work closely with all relevant departments in the company. The selected candidate will be given the necessary training to perform her/his job.
Main tasks and responsibility:
- Conduct technical analysis and optimization of marine fuel cell and battery systems to maximize system efficiency.
- Work closely with customers to understand their preferences and provide expert guidance based on premium engineering principles.
- Participate in meetings with customers, collect and analyze data, and ensure customer intimacy to provide a premium customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
Qualifications and work experience required:
- BSc or MSc in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, or related field).
- 0-5 years of experience in a relevant field; marine experience or background is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
- Passion for sustainable and innovative maritime solutions.
- English and Norwegian fluency
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Drive and flexibility to fit in with a growing company
