The position
By joining our team in Projects, Drilling & Procurement you will have the opportunity to:Join our Subsea Facilities team as a Subsea Control Systems Engineer, providing support to new and ongoing projects.
Participate in shaping the future of new fields and develop new prospects in to existing infrastructures.
Collaborate with our contractors to shape the best control systems for our projects, and new technologies.
Conduct screening and take part in concept development & early-phase studies.
Prepare technical documents for project sanction, studies, and contract tendering.
Define scopes, review study reports, and comply with relevant technical requirements.
On occasion, travel to other destinations and offshore.
This role is situated within our Subsea Facilities team, which is a competence and resource unit responsible for all Subsea Facilities resources within Oil and Gas and Low Carbon solutions. The Subsea Facilities team covers SURF (Subsea Production Systems, Umbilical, Riser, Flowline).
Our sector's main task is to provide projects with project engineers, task- and project managers; and to develop our personnel's competence across the technical disciplines, within project development and leadership.
You

Ideally a master’s degree, with minimum of 5 years’ experience with Subsea Facilities, and a background in Subsea control and systems engineering. A bachelor’s degree alongside extensive relevant experience may also be considered.
Broad experience with SAS integration, or Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS).
A good understanding of cyber security, as well as subsea instrumentation and data acquisition methods.
Experience with electro, umbilicals and cables.
A person that has previously participated in technical studies and analysis in all project phases.
Exposure to tendering and evaluation activities, and a good understanding of project development.
Working experience with HAZID & HAZOP, audits, and design reviews.
Knowledge of subsea robotics and / or all-electric is preferred.
Proficiency in English language, both written and spoken.
Flexibility for travel to other locations, across Norway and overseas.
