KSAT seeks a manager for the antenna section in the Operation Engineering team.

To succeed, you need strong motivation to maintain a high-preforming operational system. Establish clear vision and goals to achieve efficiency and reliability. Demonstrate good leadership and commitment and ensure close collaboration with other Operation teams to enhance and maintain high quality in our customer deliveries.

Your Mission:

As the leader of our Antenna department in Operations, you will provide strategic leadership within the operational domain. Your role will involve sustaining and developing the team's ability to perform both corrective and preventive antenna maintenance, ensuring our high standards are consistently met.

You will have budget and investment responsibility, aligning with and supporting our strategic objectives. Effective management of team resources and setting priorities will be crucial to your success in this role.

A key part of your responsibilities will be to ensure strong involvement in testing and evaluation during the Operational Readiness Review phase. Additionally, you will evaluate antenna vendor solutions and technologies in cooperation with the GN team, ensuring we utilize the best and most advanced options available.

This position is based in Tromsø, and you will report directly to the Director of Engineering.

Desired Qualifications:

We are seeking an individual with demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively motivate teams. The ideal candidate will be operation-oriented with a strong focus on maintaining high system availability.

A comprehensive understanding of satellite antenna operations and antenna/radio frequency technologies is essential for this role. Additionally, experience in both corrective and preventive maintenance activities is required to ensure the highest standards of performance and reliability.
