Are you the Contract Manager we are looking for?
The Contract Manager is responsible for the company tenders and contract negotiations, and this includes all aspects of a contract process, including to write/ review proposals, the implementation of new contracts within the organization (support and training), the facilitation and follow up of business/ bid risk assessments for new contracts, promote, monitor and ensure compliance with international export laws, sanctions and ABC laws.
The role responsibility also include the review and administration of confidentiality agreements and to manage contract insurance.
Other responsibilities include;
- Draft, review, negotiate and administer contracts for the provision of the sale of offshore services and products in the international markets
- Responsible for the legal and commercial terms and conditions in the contracts
- Implementation, administration and owner of the company contracting policy
- Administration of all company client contracts (including escalations, exercise of options, amendments, formal correspondence etc.)
- Promote awareness of legal and commercial policies and procedures to the organization
- Responsible for risk management in contracts
- Responsible for administration of the Cargo and Liability insurances
- Implementation and administration of processes and procedures for new agency agreements
- Implement Due Diligence and compliance processes and programs and ensure and/or perform Due Diligence on company agents
- Administration of pre-qualification of company towards clients
- Implement and administration of NDA policy
- Review of NDA’s and ensure company signs NDA’S according to company policy
- Responsible for company Purchasing Terms and Conditions
- Support and consulting the Supply Chain in contractual issues, assist in create and negotiate frame agreements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Higher/Master Commercial degree (finance/law/economy) or other relevant education
- Minimum 5 -10 years' relevant experience within contract/purchasing/law
- Sound knowledge of sales process and negotiations
- Knowledge of national/international laws and rules for export/sanctions
- Technical understanding
