Equinor 2025 Graduate Programme – Market Analysis & Trading
Interested in energy markets? Kick-start your career in Market Analysis and Trading. Equinor is recruiting for the 2025 Graduate Programme, and we are looking for curious, creative and analytical students who want to help us maximise the value of Equinor’s global energy production, in a sustainable way.
As a Market Analysis & Trading (MAT) Graduate you’ll be working within market analysis, trading, low carbon solutions projects, asset optimisation, business- and new market development.
Our commercial team consists of roughly 1,000 colleagues globally, including traders, marketers, charterers, analysts, business developers and commercial operators. We are responsible for maximizing the value of Equinor's global production, handling marketing and trading, low carbon solutions, transportation, and market analysis.
We are looking for graduates for our offices in Brazil, Norway, UK, and US, and we are looking for those with both financial, commercial, mathematical/IT and engineering/ technical backgrounds. However, strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, energy market insight, and interest in the energy industry is essential for success.
The position
In Equinor, we have more than 23,000 employees working within a range of disciplines. This means that chances are we have an opportunity for you whether you’re studying engineering, sciences, finance, IT, or business management. We are looking for graduates within:

You

- Master’s degree or PhD with good academic record
- Completed degree within year of starting (2025)
- Fluent in English
- No more than than two years of experience
- Formal experience is not a requirement
- Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage
