We are now looking for a junior communication professional to join the corporate communication unit, to work particularly with communication advisory and support, and digital content production.
In this position, you will support, develop, plan, and execute tasks and longer-term activities, reporting to Communication Manager, Group Communication. You will have interfaces with all parts and levels of our global organization. For the right person, this is a unique development opportunity to gain insight in and become part of Hydro's operations.
You will work on
- Participate in internal and external communication projects
- Develop and implement communication plans on processes and projects
- Contribute to the operation, maintenance and further development of Hydro's digital communication channels, including intranet, Viva Engage, website and social media
- Produce and use video and photos actively to engage and inform
- Streaming activities in our in-house studio
- Develop visual content for press releases, news stories, briefings, and more
- Conduct training sessions for the global organization in use of digital communication and content production

Your qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree, e.g. communication, media, journalism
- Minimum 2 years' experience from journalism, communication, or media production is an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with photography and video (experience with streaming is an advantage, but not a requirement)
- Experience with program suites like Adobe photoshop, Adobe premiere pro, publishing systems (Episerver or similar)
- Ability to produce high quality content consistently and efficiently
- Fluency in English, written and spoken. Professional working proficiency in Norwegian is an asset
- Driver's license and flexibility to travel

Communication & Public Affairs in Hydro is a world-wide organization. The department is closely integrated with Hydro's operations and businesses, with a total of approximately 50 people working in a broad range of fields.
