You will be responsible for managing payroll on a monthly basis, providing payroll input and benefits for Norway, and other European branch offices. You will ensure correct information to payroll providers and authorities, and answer questions related to payroll.
- Follow up vacation, sick leave, and parental leave to ensure correct reporting into payroll and to authorities
- Coordinate with tax advisors for international employees, and ensure correct reporting
- Coordinate and follow up work permit processes
- Ensure correct reporting of benefits
- You will contribute to salary benchmarking analysis
- You will work with HR to define the reward policies
- You will assist with office administrative tasks
You will be responsible for managing the personnel pension & insurances schemes.
- Administer the employee insurance and pension schemes and ensure that personnel data is updated. Ensure correct reporting for pension and insurances, documents to employees, and follow up on queries from employees and others.
- Ensure that the personnel data are updated in payroll and pension/insurances and HR system.
You will work with HR and Finance to improve processes.
- Proactively contribute to improve processes to ensure timely, correct, and efficient handling of tasks, and keep documentation updated
- You will prepare HR-input related to sustainability, for the annual report. This involves extensive data analysis and advanced use of Excel.
- Assist with projects related to compensation and selection of payroll providers
- Assist with annual budget preparations
- Administer reports, user data, job descriptions, calendars, appraisals, and salary review processes in the HR-system. You will be the superuser of the HR-system.
We think you should have:
- Preferably 3 years relevant work experience from HR, payroll and/or accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, administration, finance, or accounting
- Knowledge of Working Environment Act (AML)
- Experience using global People/HR systems, preferably CatalystOne
- Tech savvy and comfortable using Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
- Service minded and good overall understanding of payroll, insurance, and pension process, including reporting to authorities
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and an affinity for processes and systems
