Key Responsibilities of the Sous Chef
Assist Kitchen Manager with tasks.
Have and own the responsibility for the shift
Prepare and garnish food orders as received, adhering to recipes, and ensuring proper plate presentation.
Supervise and support team members within your section, aiming for optimal quality.
Adhere to safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices always.
Ensure the section is being closed following departmental procedures and standards.
Requirements for Chef:
A proven track record in a similar role within a high-quality setting, showcasing excellent standards and the ability to supervise team members.
A positive attitude, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer care.
A drive and ambition to inspire the team to maintain and surpass food and service standards.
Team player mentality, clear thinking, and excellent communication skills.
