Do you want to be our next Piping Engineer?

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Engineer - Piping - Work Package with experience in onshore or offshore projects.

This position is led from Stord and is not a rotation.

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

• Implement building methods in work packages
• Organize tasks, routines, and procedures for the Work Package group
• Address procedural differences with corrective actions
• Prepare Work Packages for prefabrication and installation of pipes and supports
• Define work packages with necessary data in MIPS, according to the schedule
• Check project norm factors and generate job estimates
• Coordinate start dates with Planning and Construction
• Prepare, verify, and update Work Packages as needed
• Report status and progress in MIPS
• Collect data for experience reports
• Verify interfaces with EI&T, production, and planning
• Contribute to continual improvement efforts

Qualifications we think you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree, technical college, or relevant construction experience may compensate for formal education
• Proficient in Norwegian and English both written and spoken.
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge and use of the 3D tool and MIPS
