SI Buildings offers solutions and services for building automation, fire safety, security, and other domains, solutions and services for energy and performance services, Distributed Energy Systems, solutions and services for workplace experience, Digital services and vertical markets specific offerings (e.g., for data centers, life science, smart offices) leveraging cloud and on-premise software.
In the role as Service Operations Manager, you will have P&L responsibility for the assigned organizational unit, as well as personnel responsibility for 15-20 dedicated and competent direct reports; mostly engineers and technicians. The position is reporting to the Service Head, and is a member of the management team in SI Buildings. The role can be based out of our office in Oslo, Trondheim or Bergen. Some travelling will be required.
Main responsibilities:
- P&L and personnel responsibility
- Continuous development of service business, driving efficiency, digitalization and introduction of new service offerings
- Ensuring overall customer satisfaction & loyalty, including following up on the delivery of services with respect to process adherence, service quality and profitability
- Being the point of contact for and following up on relevant partners/sub vendors
- Implementation of and adherence to strategies, policies, processes and methods for service operations activities (technically and/or commercially) for assigned organizational unit
- Identify and support relevant training and development measures for staff
- Responsible for Health & Safety of all members of the assigned organizational unit
Desired background and personal attributes:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree within business or relevant technical field
- Technical aptitude and interest in automation control systems would be an advantage
- Relevant working experience from a service provider organization
- Documented management experience, preferably with experience from driving change management
- Experience from developing and implementing new digital services and offerings would be an advantage
- Ambition and desire to further develop as a leader
- Strong commercial drive, with the ability to think outside the box
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in Norwegian and English
