Senior Geomodeller / Development Geologist

Lime is looking for a new Senior Geomodeller/Development Geologist to take main responsibility for geomodelleling of all Lime's assets, as well as new opportunities. The role is part of an existing team of professionals with backgrounds in geology, petrophysics, petroleum engineering, reservoir engineering, and facilities.

Job Description

The Senior Geomodeller at Lime Petroleum AS shall work at Lime offices in Skøyen, Oslo, and have a special focus on:

Build high-resolution Static models at field and near-field prospect scales.
Integrating well, seismic, geological, engineering, and other potential field data types as required to maintain an up-to-date geological understanding of the subsurface and associated risk elements.
Defining hydrocarbon in place (HCIIP) and associated risk elements by applying own geological knowledge and experience to understand and quantify the lateral and vertical distribution of the hydrocarbons.
Act as a technical team member in a collaborative manner to maximize value and build a portfolio of opportunities and licenses
Provide technical input and support in preparation for internal technical reviews.
Lime’s technical representative in license committees.

The senior Geomodeller will be responsible for converting the results of static & dynamic models into comprehensive reports and making presentations to Operator and the Asset Manager.

Educational and experience requirements

Relevant candidates hold a Master's Degree in Geology / Earth Science and have a strong background in geo-cellular modeling. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas upstream industry, including a minimum of 5 years experience in geo-cellular modeling. In addition you will need:

Good experience across a range of Petro-technical applications used for geomodelling and reservoir geology like Petrel and tNav.
Knowledge and experience with agile project management
Good communication skills, fluent in spoken and written English
