Job Description:

• The Topside Scope Manager has the following responsibility and key tasks:
• Management of B&V’s engineering and procurement under the SBC (Sub Building Contract). Primary point of contact towards B&V on all engineering and procurement related topics. 
• The role shall organize the technical resources together with Vessel Scope manager to carry out selskapets verification activities over the SBC scope of work.
  
  This includes:
• Manage B&V on engineering and procurement 
• Primary support function to engineering manager for technical portions of the SBC
• Organize technical resources with engineering manager to carry out selskapets oversight and verification role on B&V’s technical engineering and procurement scope.
• Responsible for e-Room databases Keppel documentation and xx and monitor, assess and follow-up queries, changes, nonconformities and Deviation Permits.
• Review selected documents and discuss as required technical solutions with B&V and coordinate with relevant parts of the project.
• Monitor and review B&V’s procurement process (RFQ, Bids, BCM, PO, Kick-off) to ensure proper selection of equipment. 
• Assess test procedures and participate in equipment testing to obtain required performance of the equipment.
• Liaise B&V’s solutions closely with Operations to ensure efficient maintenance and operation.
• Review documentation and ensure that appropriate DFO is prepared, checked and filed.
• Participate as required in negotiating, approving, follow up and closing of changes and variations with B&V. 

• Master degree in process or mechanical engineering or similar education.
• Bachelor degree and relevant experience may replace master degree requirement.
• Minimum 7 years of experience within the offshore/process industry including at least 3 years FLNG or FPSO experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within engineering.
• Good understanding and knowledge of the FLNG topside process systems or marine structures and systems.
• Good communication skills.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
