Job Description

• Design and model in 3D using AVEVA E3D.

• Engage in EIT layout design for Oil and Gas topside within the detailed engineering phase.

• Model cable ladders, offline instruments, lighting fixtures, sockets, push buttons, junction boxes, cabinets, F&G detectors, telecom field equipment, and EITA central and local equipment rooms.

• Participate in 3D discipline review meetings and resolve any clashes in the 3D model.

• Produce E3D drafts of EITA drawings.

• Prepare EITA bulk MTOs (Material Take Off).

• Interface with internal teams, clients, other disciplines, and fabrication yards.

 

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Technical College diploma with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

• Valid Ex- and FSE courses (must remain valid for the entire assignment duration).

• Minimum of 5 years of EIT layout design experience in greenfield offshore and onshore projects, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector.

• Extensive knowledge of EIT layout design in compliance with NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC standards.

• At least 3 years of experience with 3D tools such as PDMS/AVEVA E3D.

• Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.

• Cooperative and adaptable to a multicultural team environment.

• A team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.

• Systematic, accurate, and committed to meeting deadlines and quality standards.

• Proactive in seeking advice and sharing knowledge with colleagues.

• Innovative, with a focus on improving methodologies and solutions using digital tools.

• Ability to interpret and implement requirements from new standards.
