Senior Business Controller

The Role

We are looking for a highly capable Senior Business Controller to enhance our finance department and support with the new OCS operating model. In this position, you will contribute to a collaborative and productive environment while building and maintaining an effective team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute business controlling & financial reporting to PortCo, the Board of Directors, and Orkla ASA.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes within PortCo, develop and standardize financial templates.
• Govern and enhance the consolidation system Tagetik, and other supporting systems, serving as a superuser and assisting the Business Units.
• Provide support and guidance to the local finance teams in the Business Units. • Coordinate the support provided by Orkla Business Services to PortCo and manage communication with Orkla Group.
• Contribute to the budget, estimates and strategy processes.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and assist with projects at the PortCo level
• Improve treasury/loan funding routines, cash flow analysis/forecasting, and capital allocation processes.
• Support the implementation of the new OCS operating model.
• Act as a finance business partner to the new central functions, including Commercial, Supply Chain, Procurement, ESG, International.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a curious and dedicated finance professional with good business sense and ability to identity commercial opportunities from data insights. The ideal candidate should possess:

• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience from positions within finance, controlling or analysis (accounting/audit experience beneficial but not required)
• Good financial analysis skills and the ability to translate insights into business implications.
• Operational business unit experience and/or controlling experience is beneficial.
• High proficiency in Excel modelling, PowerPoint and other relevant IT tools (MS Office, BI tools, consolidation systems, accounting systems, etc.)
• Fluency in English is required; fluency in a Scandinavian language is preferred.
