Zaptec is looking for a Sustainability Manager!

As Zaptec's Sustainability Manager, you will be the driving force behind our sustainability efforts, offering expert guidance and strategic direction on all related initiatives. You’ll lead the development, implementation, and management of our sustainability strategies, ensuring they are embedded in our operations. Your role will be crucial in shaping our environmental impact, aligning our practices with our sustainability goals and core values, and driving meaningful, lasting change across the organization.

This role is perfect for a proactive professional with a deep passion for sustainability and a hands-on approach. You’ll collaborate closely with various departments, leading projects, monitoring progress, and ensuring that we not only meet but exceed our sustainability objectives.

In this role, we believe some of your tasks will be to

• Lead the work on developing a sustainability strategy aligned with the company's mission, values, and business goals
• Support Zaptec's management to set measurable sustainability targets and track progress towards achieving them
• Facilitate and run internal workshops on sustainability-related topics
• Function as a Subject Matter Expert for the organization, and support internal stakeholders on queries, tenders, and activities
• Monitor relevant laws and regulations. Keeping abreast of the latest trends and developments in sustainability, and ensuring the implications for the organizations are understood and communicated

To thrive as our new Sustainability Manager, we’re looking for someone with a background in sustainability, environmental management, supply chain, or related fields. You should be well-versed in sustainability frameworks, standards, and reporting, with the ability to seamlessly integrate them into our operations. We're seeking a professional who can not only identify industry best practices but also tailor them to fit the unique context of our organization.

As for the skills required for this

• Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Interested in new technologies and digital solutions.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
