Downhole Broadband Services relies on a four-phase optimization approach to enhance drilling performance throughout a project's life cycle. The process begins with a critical review of key performance indicators and drilling data that helps us understand how to improve drilling system performance. After analyzing the data to identify risk and opportunity, our experts build a strategy to deliver on the client's performance objectives. Due to increasing demand for our offerings we need additional personnel in our operations group to deliver intelligent, smarter and more cost-efficient solutions to our customers.

The position will involve working at both the client’s office in Trondheim and at NOV’s office in Oslo. The role requires a willingness to travel regularly between these locations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

NOV's Project Manager for eVolve optimization / Wired Drill Pipe projects

• Single point of contact towards clients and projects, responsible for all deliverables, both technically on day-to-day basis and commercially, including contract negotiations and follow up
• The PM might be required to sit in client's offices on a daily basis.
• Manage offshore operations including personnel and equipment
• Coordinate with support functions onshore
• Act as bridging link between operations, sales and support functions onshore
• Assist sales and business development with new and existing opportunities and presentations of technical papers
• Inform and advice in strategic decision-making processes
• Responsible for QHSE at assigned projects

You should preferably have a degree in Engineering or Petroleum related studies and 10+ years of work experience in a drilling and well environment. Relevant offshore-, sales-, project-, and client management experience is required as well as extensive knowledge of Norwegian and/or UK offshore industry.

Fluent English both verbally and written is a must.
