We are positioning our organization for extensive growth over the next years and strengthening our organization with a ShortSea Sales Manager. The position as ShortSea Sales Manager will have the overall responsibility for the ShortSea product and sales activity within the ShortSea segment.
The ShortSea segment consist of intra-European door to door shipments and has a large customer portfolio. As Manager you will be responsible to facilitate and oversee the growth in line with our strategy and our fleet of newbuild zero emission container vessels.
The ShortSea Sales Manager reports to the CEO.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
- Active sales in the ShortSea segment.
- Manage daily commercial activities in the ShortSea segment.
- Develop sales activity and follow-up customer portfolio within relevant markets.
- Collect and analyze market information in the short and long term, including distribution of necessary statistical material to support decision making in NCL.
- Responsible for efficient and accurate delivery to the operation department, with the necessary information on capacity requirements.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and adapt sales activity to changing demands.
- Responsible for monthly statistics and KPIs to management
- Contribute to the company’s marketing strategy
- Manage ShortSea sales team, including guidance, training and support.
- Develop and execute sales strategy for the ShortSea segment.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Business, Sales, Economics or Logistics.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior commercial role and proven track record in facilitating sales growth.
- Strong communication and negotiations skills.
- Strong management skills and minimum 5 year of management experience.
- Organizational skills and great attention to details.
Place of work:
Haugesund, but candidates located in Oslo/Østlandet will be considered.
