Drilling & Wells Performance Lead

The Drilling & Wells Lead Engineer Performance is responsible for overseeing the implementation and compliance of performance guideline across the well delivery process. You will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement, developing performance metrics, benchmarks, key performance indicators, and implementing best practices across the organization's drilling and wells operations.

Main tasks

* Continuous improvement of performance guideline and anchoring performance focus in well delivery process.
* Implementation and compliance of performance guideline across the well delivery process across rig lines
* Data analysis and reporting: Collect and analyze operational data, producing regular reports and dashboards that provide insights into drilling and well performance.
* Serve as the primary focal point for performance-related issues, providing expert advice and support to operational teams.
* Prepare detailed performance reviews and present findings to senior management and other key stakeholders on business unit level.
* Contribute to contract management by engaging with vendors and contractors to ensure their activities meet company performance standards. Provide performance data at the quarterly performance reviews with rig contractors and service companies
* Collaborate with engineering teams, rig teams, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improving operational efficiency .
* Stakeholder Management: Work closely with engineers, engineering managers, asset managers, drilling superintendents, and other stakeholders to align on business unit performance objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in D&W planning and operations
• Knowledge and awareness of well delivery process and daily drilling reporting tool functionalities
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques data visualization tools (e.g. MS Excel, Power apps, Power Bi etc.)
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
