Telenor Shared Services (TSS) is an important contributor to the Telenor Nordics strategic initiatives. As part of Telenor’s “One Nordic” ambition, new responsibilities have been moved to TSS.

As our new Vice President People Services, you will have the end-to-end responsibility to deliver efficient support to Business Units and excellent user experiences to employees across Telenor. You will be responsible for the areas of real estate, people processes, HR systems, and external vendors and service providers.

As VP People Services, you will play a key role in driving the transformation and ensure that we provide relevant services of high quality. People Services has embarked on several major projects that will impact Telenor employees in the years to come – such as HRM-system and the upgrade of Telenor’s HQ at Fornebu. In order to succeed with the ambitious and exciting transformation agenda, close collaboration with the Business Units and key stakeholders in Telenor Nordics and Group is essential.

As VP People Services, you will have responsibility for five direct reports, and a total team of 65 highly skilled employees across 6 different locations (Islamabad, Lisbon, Stockholm, Helsinki, Aalborg and Oslo). You will report to the CEO and be a part of the Telenor Shared Services Management Team.

Some of your main responsibilities:

• End-to-End responsibility for service development and service delivery and follow up with third parties.

• Interact with Business Units and employees to ensure that services are relevant and delivered with high user satisfaction.

• Execute projects within People Services according to agreed mandates.

• Meet financial targets (P&L) and operational KPIs across People Services and develop and maintain an operational improvement agenda.

• Continuously develop and manage a high performing team in line with Telenor's values.

• Drive collaboration with TSS internal stakeholders, Business Units and external vendors and service providers.

• Advice the CEO and Nordic CHRO on all matters related to the People Services.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience from delivering services to internal/external customers or in relevant operational roles.

• Track record in program/project management as project owner or program/project manager.

• Experience with developing and implementing shared services within People Services/HR.

• Experienced in people management and development across teams, locations and cultures, with the ability to inspire and create trust.

• Good understanding of process improvement and change management.

• Experience with stakeholder management and interaction on CxO level.

• Strong communication, collaboration and presentation skills.

• Higher relevant education.
