We are looking for maternity cover for our Brand Manager
We are looking for a one year maternity cover for a Junior Brand Manager position.The right candidate should have passion for the salmon industry and thrive in an international team.
The purpose of the role is to lead and assist global projects and tasks and provide support for the branding operations in the different markets. Support global brand projects and tasks with the objective to increase higher consistency and/or efficiency within the MOWI brand operation.
The role reports to the Brand Director and is part of the Mowi Global Marketing team. Internal collaboration is expected with the various teams centrally and in the different BU’s within the Brand team, Sales, Marketing, Commercial, RMT, Product managers, NPD, Technical, Communication, Legal, etc. Main external contacts will be agencies within Advertising, Marketing, PR and Market research.
Main tasks:
- Leading all projects related to the global digital assets esp. websites, global social media, brand center and product traceability tool. This task includes the maintenance, ongoing improvement and resolution of day to day issues related to all of these tools.
- Managing existing and registering any new trademarks which the Group uses in different markets.
- Organizing platforms (live and virtual) which help to build community and capabilities among the global brand teams. This includes esp. setting up quarterly community meetings, proposing the related topics and speakers for capability building purposes, supporting of organizing the annual brand meeting.
- Supporting key global band projects which are essential for consistent brand appearance and communication globally (like assisting global content production etc.).
- Supporting the local marketing teams in resolving day to day issues.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and developing the global digital brand assets in close collaboration with the appointed agencies: Websites, social media, product traceability tool, brand center
- Supporting global brand projects (like e.g. content production, brand positioning management, global researches)
- Organizing meetings to build community and capabilities of the global brand teams.
- Trademark management
- Day-to-day support for the markets
Qualifications:
- Higher education in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
- Project and/or brand management experience (min 2 years)
- Good analytical skills
- Project management skill, scheduling and time management
- Effective communication skills
- Independent, problem-solving oriented way of working
- Good influencing skills
- Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- Willing to travel
