Offshore Senior Data Processors

The Offshore Senior Data Processors is responsible for leading the offshore execution of all survey and positioning projects offshore.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Project preparations in office as required.
• Lead offshore project execution according to general or project specific procedures / work instructions.
• Act as team leader for mobilisation and demobilisation of all positioning and survey sensors.
• Data processing and reporting offshore when required.
• Report preparations onshore as required.
• Follow up software and hardware developments when required.
• Actively develop own knowledge of offshore survey and positioning techniques.
• Provide assistance to other offshore operations as required.
• Familiarity with project technical requirements.
• Contribute to training of junior personnel

External relationships:

• Client’s offshore representatives, daily co-operation.
• Hardware suppliers, contact as required.
• Software suppliers, contact as required.

Job qualifications:

• BSc In surveying or electronics/IT or similar.
• Relevant experience with geophysical, site survey, UXO surveys, cable burial surveys, inspection and subsea construction surveys can compensate for lack of formal education.
• Offshore safety training (desirable)
• Desirable knowledge of EIVA software, Sonardyne Software, CARIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, Programming

Experience:

Relevant experience with geophysical, site survey, UXO surveys, cable burial surveys, inspection and subsea construction surveys.

Personal Skills:

• Good communication and co-operation skills.
• Technical mindset with good problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English
